The La Cañada Flintridge Sister Cities Association and the city of La Cañada Flintridge held the culmination of their inaugural Artist-in-Residence Program, introducing world-renown Spanish painter Javier Montesol and his exhibit, “Miradas,” at Descanso Gardens on May 4.
Montesol is best known for his iconic paintings of Spanish dancers and depictions of Spanish culture.
In fall of 2022, La Cañada Flintridge Sister Cities hosted the artist and introduced him to community members to welcome him to Southern California.
