It was a Friday night to remember, as Paradise Canyon Elementary School parents, students and staff turned out recently for the annual PCY World Fest event.
Parent volunteers set up booths representing their heritage, with information about their country, craft activities and food for all to sample. Some of the host parents and students dressed up in traditional clothing for the occasion, and the “What a Party” DJ played music from around the world while various groups performed traditional dances.
The event was chaired by Misbah Etman, Maricela Hurtado, Emily Kwon and Bhupy Malik.
