Lutheran Church to Vote on Pastoral Leadership

Lutheran Church in the Foothills will hold a potluck and congregational meeting this Sunday, June 4, to consider pastoral leadership. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall following worship at 10 a.m.
LCIF has enjoyed the care of Rev. Charles “Chuck” Bunnell as the interim pastor the past two years. Bunnell will continue to serve until the call process is complete. The congregation will vote on a pastoral candidate at this Sunday’s meeting.
LCIF also had registration open for Vacation Bible School. VBS will be held June 19-23 from 9 a.m. to noon. It is open to children ages 4 through 6th grade. Registration is $35 for one child, $25 each for two or more kids. “There will be plenty of singing, dancing, crafts and games, all centered on learning about God in new ways,” a church spokesperson said. Families are encouraged to register online through LCIF’s website or call the church’s office. Visit lcifoothills.org for event details.
For more information or to request/offer help, email office@lcifoothills.org, or call (818) 790-1951. The church is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
