All LCF Electric Car Chargers Are Powered Up

For the first time in three months, all six electric car chargers in the city of La Cañada Flintridge have been reported to be working, according to the Administration Department Semi-Monthly Report.
Director of Administration Services Arabo Parseghian explained that the main reason is that the city was waiting on specific parts necessary to the chargers and finally got them, and the vender was able to install them.
“Some of the units failed due to an issue with their network communications preventing the units from connecting and getting necessary data to operate,” Parseghian said. “The city immediately reported the issue to the vendor and placed an order for repair. Unfortunately, due to supply issues the necessary parts to fix the issue did not arrive until recently. That is what caused the delay.”
He added that although some units would be offline, there were always other units available for charging, and the city continues to look for opportunities to expand the number of charging stations they have.
“We will continue to do that through grant opportunities or partnerships with private vendors,” Parseghian said.
