A deputy responded to a call regarding a grand theft report in the 4900 block of Alta Canyada Road at 2:55 p.m. on July 6. After the victim was done with lawn maintenance, they returned to their company’s vehicle and discovered four work-related machines missing from the back of the vehicle, including a lawn mower, two leaf blowers and a weed trimmer. After reviewing video footage of the incident, a deputy observed a dark-colored SUV driving onto the driveway of the property and saw two suspects exit the vehicle and run toward the victim’s vehicle to remove items from the unlocked vehicle.

A deputy responded to a call regarding a grand theft report in the 900 block of Foothill Boulevard at 6:34 p.m. on July 8. The call indicated that two male suspects entered the location and stole merchandise. After reviewing the video surveillance, the deputy saw the suspects enter the main entrance holding hands and grabbing a reusable shopping bag and a plastic Sprouts basket. They proceeded to walk toward the vitamin section and retrieved multiple containers of vitamins. A store clerk saw the suspects and the suspects proceeded to walk out of the emergency exit door with the unpaid vitamins. The clerk was able to identify the suspects to the deputy and said that he would be able to recognize them if he saw them again.
