The Presbytery of San Fernando will install two pastors at La Cañada Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Ross Purdy was called to be the senior pastor for the church back in February of this year. The installation worship service is the formal, public recognition of his calling to LCPC as senior pastor.
The Rev. Cindy Frost will also be formally installed as the associate pastor of outreach and spiritual formation for LCPC. Frost has been serving in this role since early 2020, but the formal and public recognition of her calling was delayed by the COVID pandemic.
The congregation is excited to welcome and honor these two pastors to serve and to lead the church alongside longtime associate pastor of congregational care, the Rev. Chuck Osburn.
The community is invited to attend this special service. Refreshments and a time for fellowship will take place afterwards in the Fellowship Hall. La Cañada Presbyterian Church is located at 626 Foothill Blvd. The service will also be livestreamed at live.lacanadapc.org.
