There are 48 new families at La Cañada Elementary School joining first through sixth grades. They received a warm Lion’s welcome at a recent social event, where Principal Kelly Duncan and PTA President Debbie Barsom greeted them.
A brief overview of the school year was given and refreshments were served. The parents and students also had an opportunity to walk through the campus, preparing for their first day. The welcome event was chaired by Christine Liao.
