The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ volleyball team recently visited Bishop’s High in la Jolla for its CIF State Division I playoff opener on Nov. 7; the match ended after the Outlook Valley Sun’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
If the No. 14-seeded Spartans (27-12 overall) upset No. 3-seed Bishop’s (30-8), they would advance to the second round and meet either No. 6 Orange Lutheran (28-15) or No. 11 San Marcos (28-11) on Nov. 9.
