Art Week at Paradise Canyon Elementary School gave students an opportunity at lunch to make bookmarks and sculptures.
A special treat was the evening activity, where students and parents were able to make paper windmills, under the direction of the staff from the Drawing Cabinet.
The kinetic artists wrote their special wishes on their windmill. In the spirit of spring and the Lunar New Year, when the windmills turn in the breeze, the students’ wishes will be carried in the breeze, bringing them good fortune. The event was coordinate by Tanya Cobb.
