YMCA CEO Named Keynote Speaker of Leadership Conference

First published in the Feb. 17 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

The Youth Leadership Conference Committee recently selected Vince Iuculano, CEO of the YMCA of the Foothills, to be this year’s keynote speaker at the Youth Leadership Virtual Conference for the Character and Ethics Project on March 4 at 9 a.m.
With nearly 25 years of service relating to youth development, Iuculano is well equipped to lead the discussion and inspire others to share their experiences in leadership, values and ethical decision-making.
“It’s an honor to be the keynote speaker and to work together with local businesses and community leaders to serve our junior and senior high school students in this capacity,” Iuculano said. “In all my efforts with various organizations, especially at the Y, my goal is to continuously meet the needs in youth development so that our youth have the best opportunities available to build self-confidence and integrity right from the start.”
The mission of the Character & Ethics Project is to mentor high school students, helping them aspire to higher levels of respect, honesty, citizenship and other principles of good character and ethics. This unique conference gives students an opportunity to unite with business and community leaders from Glendale, Burbank and La Cañada Flintridge and gain valuable insight in addressing various scenarios relating to character, ethics and leadership through break-out sessions and dialogue.
The Y mission is at work as Iuculano continues to lead and engage in opportunities that address the needs of the local youth and their development.
