The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ golf team is off to a good start this spring, recently opening its season with a first-place finish in the 10th annual Coyote Invitational at Calabasas Country Club. The Spartans carded 305 as a team and won the competition, which featured 20 Southern California teams, by two strokes. Senior Youngjin Park led LCHS and placed third overall with 73 shots. Sophomore Cameron Hart was fourth overall with a 74. The squad includes Ian Ricci (from left), Park, Logan Kim, Nolan Kuszyk and Hart.
