The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team defeated Heritage Christian of Northridge, 15-12, in a rain-soaked game at Spartan Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Junior Jake Jewell scored six goals and sophomore Dylan Jeffries added five to pace LCHS. Sophomores Keshav Fernando and Thomas Sorensen each contributed two goals each.
Meanwhile, junior Kyle McKinney had six saves in goal and freshman Kai Gundersen made two saves.
The Spartans are scheduled to visit Lynwood for a nonleague game on Wednesday, April 13, at 3:30 p.m.
