An Outlook Valley Sun article mistakenly reported last week that the La Cañada High School girls’ and boys’ track and field team had finished second and third, respectively, in the Rio Hondo League. The report was based on unofficial team scores from the Rio Hondo League championship meet, which have no bearing on league standings and isn’t contested at the team level.
In actuality, the Spartan girls won their third consecutive league title (based on their results from regular season dual meets) and the LCHS boys placed second in the league standings for the second straight year.
