A residential burglary was reported in the 5100 block of Angeles Crest Highway between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on June 16. The victim returned home to discover his house had been ransacked. He believes the suspects entered his home through a sliding door, because he found his keys on the outside of the door.

A petty theft was reported in the 5100 block of Oakwood Avenue between 3:54 a.m. and 3:56 a.m. on June 14. The victim noticed that her purse was missing from her vehicle and reviewed her surveillance camera footage, which revealed that suspects opened her vehicle’s unlocked rear passenger doors and took a purse. The victim reported an additional purse, driver’s license, credit cards, a checkbook, money and glasses were missing.

A petty theft was reported in the 500 block of Starlight Crest Drive at 3 a.m. on June 14. A victim’s vehicle was parked in the driveway when the victim’s daughter heard a trunk door open and close. While the victim headed to work, she noticed that her sunglasses, two prescription glasses and a suitcase was missing.

A petty theft was reported in the 4300 block of Cornishon Avenue between 6 p.m. on June 13 and 7 a.m. on June 14. The victim parked her Range Rover in her driveway on June 13, and on June 14 her husband discovered the doors open to the vehicle and it appeared to have been rummaged through. The victim noticed a vehicle registration card missing. The victim left the doors unlocked during the night and does not have surveillance video of the incident.

The school resource deputy at LCHS was approached regarding a theft in the 400 block of Foothill Boulevard between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on June 15. The victim placed a speaker belonging to the school in the center console of her vehicle, which was then stolen. The victim said that she always leaves her vehicle unlocked.

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 4700 block of Indianola Way at 3:44 a.m. on June 14. The victim received a notification from his Blink camera system which showed two suspects entering his parked car and rummaging through the vehicle. The suspects then left in a dark-colored sedan.
