Caroline Anderson was recently recognized as Rep. Judy Chu’s Congressional Woman of the Year representing La Cañada Flintridge during a recent awards ceremony in Arcadia.
The event honored “women in the San Gabriel Valley who have contributed to the community through service, organizing or leadership. The award, now in its 13th year, is given to women nominated by people in their own cities and communities.”
Anderson currently serves as a member of the La Cañada Unified School District Governing Board and has been a recipient of the LCF Educational Foundation’s Spirit of Outstanding Service Award.
Other award winners represented Altadena, Claremont, Pasadena, Monterey Park, Upland, San Gabriel, Sierra Madre and South Pasadena.
