Lutheran Night to Be Held at Dodger Stadium

It’s time for Dodger baseball at Lutheran Church in the Foothills. The church will participate in the upcoming Lutheran Night at Dodger Stadium on Friday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. “Lutheran Night” is organized by the Southwest California Synod, the local governing body of LCIF. Tickets are $30 to see the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Atlanta Braves. Anyone interested in attending should contact the church’s office no later than Sunday, July 30.
LCIF is also planning a day of fun at Knott’s Berry Farm on Tuesday, Aug. 1. The event is a chance for kids to have fun together before heading back to school. Adult adventurers are welcome as well. Attendees are asked to RSVP by contacting the church office.
A four-week program will begin Sunday, July 24, for anyone interested in learning more about the Bible. No prior knowledge is necessary. The Bible study, led by pastor Rick Hall, will be held on Sundays, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
Summer worship at LCIF continues to include programming for young children. Children’s Church is offered during 10 a.m. worship. Families should meet in the church’s sanctuary. After a message for the children from Hall, the kids head to the Youth Room for games, crafts and study.
Visit lcifoothills.org for event details. For more information or to request/offer help, email office@lcifoothills.org, or call (818) 790-1951. The church is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada Flintridge. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
