The classic animated film “The Secret of NIHM” will be the featured presentation in this week’s edition of Movies in the Park hosted by the La Cañada Congregational Church on Friday, Oct. 6, at Memorial Park at 7 p.m.
Early arrivers also have a chance to participate in a special workshop to build a solar fountain. The workshop is intended to help the community create urban habitats to support pollinators by planting a variety of flowers, including native species. All building materials, from motors to containers, will be provided at the workshop, which will take place at 6 p.m. before the film starts. Movies in the Park runs every Friday through Oct. 27. Upcoming movies in the park include “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” “The Goonies” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.”
