The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ volleyball team narrowly lost to visiting JSerra Catholic High of San Juan Capistrano in five games, 25-18, 15-25, 20-25, 25-21, 13-15, in a CIF Southern Section Division II quarterfinal match on Oct. 25. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
The Spartans (27-12 overall) now await the announcement of the CIF State Girls Volleyball Championships. The brackets will be released Sunday, Nov. 5.
