Lutheran Churches to Come Together for Thanksgiving

Pumpkin Pie and worship is on the menu at a special Thanksgiving Eve event hosted by Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in La Crescenta and the Lutheran Church in the Foothills in La Cañada.
Worship will begin at 7 p.m. at Mt. Olive in La Crescenta on Wednesday, Nov. 22, followed by fellowship and plenty of homemade pumpkin pie. All are welcome to join. For more details, visit the church’s website or contact the church’s office.
Additionally, Lutheran Church in the Foothills would like to remind the community of its ongoing food drive to help feed the hungry. Canned goods can be dropped off during Sunday worship or anytime at the church’s office. The donations will be distributed to the food pantry at Heart of the Canyon Church in Tujunga.
For those looking for breakfast and prayer, LCIF invites you to join Pastor Rick Hall each Thursday morning at 9 a.m. at the McDonald’s in LCF. Regular worship with Hall is held at 10 a.m. on Sundays at LCIF, with Children’s Church beginning at the same time.
Visit lcifoothills.org for event details. For more information or to request/offer help, email office@lcifoothills.org, or call (818) 790-1951. The church is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in LCF. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
