La Cañada Flintridge’s Memorial Park will be jumping with activities on Saturday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to noon for the 25th annual “Easter in the Park” event.
After more than two years, as a result of the pandemic, Dilbeck Real Estate is hopping back in 2022, along with the dedicated assistance of its sales partners, the city of La Cañada Flintridge, community businesses and individuals throughout the Foothills to sponsor this whimsical community event.
“’Easter in the Park’ is always a family-fun event and a wonderful way to support charities serving our local communities,” said Brian K. Walker, Dilbeck La Cañada-Flintridge Branch Manager. This year’s festivities will include a “Twinkle Time” children’s show, a hat parade featuring handmade bonnets, a petting zoo, obstacle course, photo booth, bunny raffle and a visit by the Easter Bunny.
An Easter egg hunt has also been organized for children 4 years old and younger, with help from mom or dad. Another hunt will be held for children ages 5-7, and a third hunt will be held for children 8-10 years old.
Instead of searching for colored eggs, children will find tokens hidden in the grass. Tokens can be redeemed for bagged candy after each hunt.
Thanks to many generous donors and community neighbors this year, the net proceeds from the event will be donated to three charities — La Cañada Flintridge Trails Council, Door of Hope and Tierra Del Sol Foundation.
