Palm Crest Elementary School students and parents recently celebrated and shared their cultural heritage at its International Night event.
Students grabbed their passports and traveled to the booths representing Armenia, Bahamas, China, France, India, Iran, Ireland, Montenegro, Sweden, Philippines, Netherlands, Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan.
Students enjoyed food that was served, made posters that highlighted various countries, and learned about musical instruments and other cultural items.
It was a memorable night of cultural awareness. The event was chaired by parents Liezle Arevalo and Diana Rodriguez.
