Allied Waste Services, Athens Services and NASA Services will provide residents with free recycling of their Christmas/holiday trees after the holidays between Dec. 26 – Jan. 17.
Participants can place their trees on their curb on their regular collection day. They recommend removing any decorations and cut trees taller than 6 and a half feet for eligibility.
Trees are 100% recyclable and will be used as mulch, cover material or compost.
