Although La Cañada Elementary School students were not born when 9/11 happened, they were proud to honor those who lost their lives that day.
The young students learned about that tragic day in American history. They made flag T-shirts, headbands and posters. They held them proudly, as well as flags, chanting “USA,” as the Patriot Parade passed by the school.
