USC-VHH Health Expo Is Set for Oct. 21

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital has partnered with the YMCA of the Foothills, Glendale Fire Department and Glendale Police Department to host a community Health Expo on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the USC-VHH Council Rooms and patio, located on the hospital’s fourth floor.
Admission is free. As part of the Health Expo, free flu vaccines, activities for children, and health screenings for adults — including anxiety screening, balance assessment, blood pressures screening, and hands-on CPR training – will be provided to community members.
In addition, participants can take advantage of free seminars on a variety of topics, including mental health, orthopedics, pelvic health, proper use of antibiotics, and substance abuse crisis and Narcan training.
A number of organizations will be offering information and resources, including Alzheimer’s L.A., Cancer Support Community, the Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge and NAMI Glendale.
USC-VHH is located at 1812 Verdugo Blvd. in Glendale.
