LCF Sister Cities Association to Hold Annual Meeting

The La Cañada Flintridge Sister Cities Association is pleased to announce its 2022 Annual Meeting, to be held at the historic Lanterman House on Saturday, May 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Tickets are $50 per person and are available for purchase at www.lcfsistercities.org.
Event co-chairs Elysa Del Guercio, Lynne Graves, Sheri Morton, and Gina Ricci have planned an event that beautifully blends and highlights the cultures of both La Cañada Flintridge in Southern California, and its Sister City, Villanueva de la Canada, located near Madrid, Spain. The festive cocktail party will feature hearty fare from Los Gringos Locos, who has promised a surprise announcement at the event, along with live music from Los Angeles based Bolero band “Tres Souls.” The Association will welcome Mayor Luis Partido and a delegation from Villanueva de la Canada and will celebrate its achievements over the year.
“Sister Cities is pleased and honored that Mayor Partida has been chosen as the Grand Marshal of the Memorial Day Parade,” stated President Vicki Schwartz. “His selection helps fulfill the mission of Sister Cities to promote peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation, one individual and one community at a time.”
